LED Lighting in Cove or Building

LED lighting strips are available everywhere in today's market. They have become the main tool for all lighting designers. There are two types of bands, color change (RVB) and simple colors. Although they are mainly used in coves, they can also be used as decorative lighting for the exterior of buildings.

Since many manufacturers produce these strips, the selection of high-quality products is vital. Unfortunately, due to competition in the market, there are many low-quality bands. Therefore, it is good to learn how to select and distinguish different versions and brightness levels from LED bands.

The key to a high-quality LED Light band is the light flow of the LED chip. It depends on the specifications of the chip and therefore the manufacturer of the tape. For example, a common confusion is a tape made with an SMD3528 LED chip. Most people think that 3528 LED Lights chips are made by the same manufacturer, but that's not true!

It is wrong to assume that the bands have the same quality and brightness, simply because different vendors offer LED strips with 3528 LED chips! The same LED chip can be manufactured by different manufacturers. Each has different specifications and thus offers different qualities. This is actually the reason why the same versions of LED tapes, using exactly the same 3528 LEDs, can have a totally different level of brightness and quality.

Unfortunately, choosing the best quality LED band cannot guarantee the best level of brightness or the longest possible working time of the band. The best result comes after the proper installation of the LED Light Manufacturers' tape. The first step for the right installation is to decide on the best proper power voltage, depending on the type of use. The strips are generally available at a power voltage of 12 volts and these models are suggested for small installation lengths, i.e. in cars or caravans where the battery is 12 Volts. To light longer paths for coves or building decorations, it is suggested to use 24 Volts to avoid the voltage drop that will result in a decrease in brightness.

Thus, even making the right choice of LED band, the installation can end up with a low light effect due to the voltage drop, caused by high current and long cables. Another consideration is the LED driver, which must be a PSU (Power Supply Unit) cutting power supply. There are installers who use random power to connect LED tapes. The LED band can work, but if the power supply is not a cutting power supply, its lifespan is reduced.

In addition, good quality LED Lighting strips to have a long working time without problems. To do this, everything must be designed correctly. Poor selection of a power supply or a voltage drop due to thin cables or long distances of cables could significantly reduce the life of LEDs. In addition, in order to increase the life of the tape, it is good to know what is the correct power (Wattage) of the pilot, in order to successfully manage the load.

In most cases, everything works properly, even when you're working at bad power. However, after a short period of time, the LED driver is damaged and the reason may not be the poor quality of the driver, but the amount of power. Damage can occur because the LED Light Pakistan band works at maximum performance and heat is created. The heat damages the driver's electronic components. For this reason, it is suggested to allow a capacity 20% higher than the load driven.
